From historically preserved Downtown Brevard to nature filled surrounding areas, a visit to Transylvania County, NC presents an opportunity to sample an eclectic blend of attractions. For the outdoor oriented there are numerous National Forest attractions such as the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education and Sliding Rock, as well as countless waterfalls that are spread through the county.
